Simon is the founder of Accountable Recruitment which he set up in 2010, after over 19 years in the recruitment industry, spanning two continents.


His vision was to enhance the recruitment experience for candidates and clients alike, bringing honesty, strong ethics and a straightforward approach, which has been immensely successful.


Early achievements have included setting up the prestigious annual Finance Director Awards in conjunction with Hill Dickinson, Grant Thornton and HSBC, and the quarterly FD Club event.


Simon has developed enviable relationships with senior managers across the finance spectrum over his many years in the industry. He is a well liked and trusted recruitment partner, having built a successful brand over the last 6 years and developed a talented team of recruiters.


Not one to stand still, Simon splits his spare time between his young family and a property redevelopment project.

Bringing with him a wealth of experience in the Finance and Accountancy sector, Simon is an expert in his field and truly passionate about building long term relationships with his client base and aspiring part qualified and transactional professionals. Living on the Wirral, Simon is a super hero to his two young children who both attend primary school, with a passion for cooking and enjoys volunteering his time to coaching and developing the local junior academy team

Fiona's career began in 1998 following a degree in Classics at the University of Liverpool. Initially working in two of Liverpool's largest media organisations she entered the recruitment world in 2003, and has never looked back.

Fiona joined Accountable Recruitment in 2016 as Business Manager, having previously worked with Simon 10 years earlier, when they set up an office for an international recruitment firm in Liverpool.


With over 13 years experience as a successful recruiter and manager, Fiona's focus is working with candidates at the executive and senior finance level. Fiona brings a genuine integrity and consultative approach to her work, enabling great working relationships with finance professionals across the North West.

Spare time is taken up with her young family and their school and sports activities.

Kelly studied Law at the University of Liverpool before completing the LPC, and subsequently worked at two top 50 UK law firms in the insurance sector for a number of years.


Kelly made the transition into legal recruitment in 2016 and has now moved into Accountancy and Finance. She will be responsible for North West Public Practice recruitment and Commercial Recruitment within North Wales. Known for her honest, friendly and professional approach, she will go that extra mile for new and existing candidates and clients to provide an excellent consultative service.


Kelly is from Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch(!) and is fluent in Welsh. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys planning holidays and you can often see her sipping on a glass of fizz with family and friends!
