Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance function across a multi‑entity SME group.
• Partner directly with Directors to support strategic planning and decision‑making.
• Build and implement scalable financial systems, processes, and controls.
• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations including ledgers, payroll oversight, month‑end and year‑end close, and statutory reporting.
• Drive continuous process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Produce monthly management accounts, board packs, KPIs, and performance analysis.
• Lead annual budgeting, reforecasting, and financial modelling.
• Deliver scenario analysis, profitability reviews, and commercial recommendations.
• Manage cash flow, banking, treasury, and working capital.
• Oversee VAT, tax compliance, and external audit processes.

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Experience in an SMEs or multi‑entity environments.
• Strong technical knowledge with full end‑to‑end finance ownership.
• Commercially minded with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Confident, proactive, and excited by working in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial setting.
