FP&A Analyst - 12 Month FTC (Hybrid)
Salary: £65,000
Location: Runcorn (3 days office / 2 days home)
We're partnering with a large, values led healthcare organisation to recruit an experienced FP&A Analyst for a 12 month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.
This is a hands on, commercially focused role sitting at the heart of the finance function, supporting senior stakeholders with high quality financial insight, reporting, and forecasting.
The role
Reporting into a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will:
- Own month end processes including pre close activity, journals, and preparation of board level reports
- Consolidate financial results across multiple business units, ensuring accuracy around exceptionals and non EBITDA items
- Coordinate quarterly forecasts and the annual budgeting cycle, including consolidation and variance analysis
- Deliver flash results, trend analysis, P&L reporting, and performance dashboards for senior leadership
- Review capital expenditure forecasts and support cost centre management
- Maintain and support the chart of accounts, cost centres, and general ledger structure
- Act as a key link between finance and operational teams, providing clear and commercially focused insight
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve data accuracy, and enhance finance processes
What we're looking for
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Minimum 3 years' FP&A experience
- Strong understanding of month end, forecasting, and budgeting cycles
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Confident communicating with senior stakeholders in a collaborative, solutions focused way
- Previous exposure to financial systems and reporting tools (e.g. Business Central, Jet Reports) is desirable
