An established and growing UK manufacturer is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join its payroll team, supporting employees across the UK and Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-focused individual looking to develop their payroll career within a busy and supportive environment. The successful candidate will provide administrative support across payroll operations, ensuring employee records and payroll inputs are maintained accurately and processed within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payrolls across multiple UK and Ireland locations.
- Accurately input payroll data including salary amendments, overtime, bonuses and other payments.
- Carry out payroll data checks and support payroll processing deadlines.
- Reconcile Time & Attendance information and highlight discrepancies for review.
- Process new starter and leaver information and maintain employee payroll records.
- Update personal, contractual and shift pattern changes within payroll systems.
- Support pension administration, including Auto-Enrolment and Salary Sacrifice arrangements.
- Assist with employee benefits administration and payroll deductions.
- Support statutory payment administration, including SSP and SMP calculations.
- Process attachment orders and third-party payments.
- Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations and month-end activities.
- Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with GDPR and payroll legislation.
Who We're Looking For
- Previous administration experience, ideally within payroll, finance, HR or a similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional and confidential approach to handling sensitive information.
- Payroll experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
