Ormskirk - Hybrid 3/2

The Role:

A high-impact Finance Business Partner role with broad visibility across the business and direct access to key decision-makers. Repoting into the Head of FP&, this position is ideal for a proactive, ambitious individual looking to grow within a supportive, collaborative team working on diverse and engaging projects.

The client are open to seeing a range of experiences and backgrounds including a 1st or 2nd time mover from Audit/Top 10

What You'll Do:

  • Budgeting: Collaborate with business units to align financial plans with strategic goals. Provide challenge and insight to develop robust, data-informed budgets.
  • Forecasting: Maintain and enhance rolling Income Statement models to support financial planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior leadership and shareholders. Partner with business leaders to interpret and evolve reporting in line with business needs.
  • Commercial Insight: Deliver actionable insights on sales, pricing, cost structures, and profitability to support strategic initiatives and drive performance.
  • Decision Support: Acts as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, offering real-time analysis and financial guidance to influence key decisions.
  • Ad Hoc Work - They are an agile and fast growing business so there is opportunity to work on a broad range of interesting opportunities from Mergers & Acquisitions, due diligence, understanding the busines model and more.

What You'll Bring:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent experience
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or similar numerate discipline
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and modelling
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to apply complex formulas and analytical techniques
  • Cgonfident communicator with the ability to simplify complex data for a range of stakeholders
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
