Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading UK organisation who are seeking to appoint an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to join their regional team on a 3-6 month temporary contract.

This role will be based regionally, depending on the location of the successful candidate, and will support multiple business units across the South and Central areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of business partnering and play a key role in driving operational and financial performance.

Job Duties:

• Set, analyse and drive improvement in operational & financial KPI's.
• Improve the quality, accuracy and timeliness of financial information to stakeholders.
• Take ownership of regional forecasts and budgets, presenting key movements to the Finance Director and Operations Director.
• Oversee accurate monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting, supported by the Centre of Excellence team.
• Ensure timely closure of operational month-end accounts and provide insight on deviations from forecast/budget.
• Deliver accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Challenge operational management to improve financial performance.
• Identify efficiency opportunities, drive cost control and cash generation projects.
• Support Operational Management with preparation and review of forecasts and budgets.
• Assist in commercial reviews, driving profitability through financial evaluation.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting for Capex, with robust investment appraisals.
• Lead and develop the Finance Business Partnering team.
• Deputise for the Finance Director Business Partnering when required.

Ideal experience:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Minimum 5+ years Finance Management experience.
• Strong management accounting and financial control experience.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manipulate complex data and provide actionable insight.
• Proven track record of driving business improvement and financial performance.
• Commercially astute with experience supporting profit improvement plans.
• Strong Excel and SAP systems knowledge.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with strong business partnering skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
