The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified, or soon-to-qualify, accountant to join a high-growth, forward-thinking organisation. The role offers exposure to both finance and operations, making it ideal for an ambitious individual who is eager to progress quickly and make a tangible impact in a dynamic environment.

You will act as a key link between finance and operational teams, supporting the delivery of accurate insights, analysis, and reporting to drive decision-making and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operational and commercial teams to deliver meaningful financial insights.

• Support the development of financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and planning.

• Assist with the analysis of project performance, margins, and cost drivers.

• Prepare and present monthly performance reports, including variance analysis and commentary.

• Contribute to financial planning and analysis activities across the business.

• Assist in the development of KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance.

• Support investment appraisals, bids, and contract reviews.

Essential Requirements:

• Newly qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or finalist close to qualification.

• Excellent communication skills, with confidence in engaging stakeholders.

• Proficient in Excel and financial modelling.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in business partnering or FP&A.

• Exposure to construction, engineering, or project-based industries.

• Experience with ERP/financial systems.

• Background in a high-growth or PE-backed environment.
