Interim Project Accountant
Location: Hybrid - Merseyside/Cheshire
Salary: Up to £55,000
Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term

What You'll Be Doing:
Lead enhancements in capital and component accounting processes
Drive improvements and automation in financial systems
Ensure compliance with evolving financial reporting standards, including FRS102 and SORP
Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Business Intelligence teams to streamline processes and increase efficiency
Provide expert financial systems support and deliver high-quality reporting and reconciliation
What We're Looking For:
Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or CIPFA)
Strong technical accounting background with in-depth knowledge of FRS102
Proven experience in financial systems administration and process automation
Analytical mindset with a proactive and problem-solving approach
Strong report writing and data interpretation skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
High attention to detail and able to meet tight deadlines
Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
