Interim Project Accountant
Location: Hybrid - Merseyside/Cheshire
Salary: Up to £55,000
Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term

What You'll Be Doing:


  • Lead enhancements in capital and component accounting processes

  • Drive improvements and automation in financial systems

  • Ensure compliance with evolving financial reporting standards, including FRS102 and SORP

  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Business Intelligence teams to streamline processes and increase efficiency

  • Provide expert financial systems support and deliver high-quality reporting and reconciliation

What We're Looking For:


  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or CIPFA)

  • Strong technical accounting background with in-depth knowledge of FRS102

  • Proven experience in financial systems administration and process automation

  • Analytical mindset with a proactive and problem-solving approach

  • Strong report writing and data interpretation skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

  • High attention to detail and able to meet tight deadlines

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
