Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading, multi-national organisation in Liverpool city centre who are looking to appoint an Interim Accountant for an initial 6-month assignment.

Based in Liverpool city centre, you will play a key role within the finance function, working on both financial and management accounting responsibilities. This opportunity is ideal for an immediately available qualified Accountant who enjoys driving improvements and transforming processes.

Salary/benefits:

• £300-400 per day

• Liverpool city centre location

Job Duties:

• Lead on P&L analysis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support decision making.

• Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Take responsibility for transforming and streamlining how core accounting processes are carried out, implementing best practice.

• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.

• Assist with audit queries and compliance requirements.

• Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to the wider finance team where required.

Ideal experience:

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

• Strong track record in both financial and management accounting roles.

• Proven experience in audit environments.

• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to handle large data sets and build insightful analysis.

• Self-starter with the ability to challenge and improve existing processes.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across the organisation.
