This is a unique opportunity to manage the finances of a diverse portfolio, including a manufacturing business, hotel ventures, and other ad-hoc private entities, while working directly with the CEO.
This role is ideal for a qualified accountant who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, enjoys variety, and is motivated by the opportunity to influence the growth and development of multiple businesses.
Key Responsibilities:

- Liaising with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks as required
- Managing cashflow, WIP, and investment analysis across the group of entities
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business growth
- Implementing and improving financial processes and controls across entities
- Providing ad-hoc financial analysis to support the CEO in strategic decision-making
- Travelling regularly to Manchester and Warrington sites to support business operations

- Strong background in practice (mid-tier experience preferred), combined with in-house experience within an owner-managed SME environment
- Broad financial management experience, ideally across multiple entities/sectors
- Ability to work closely with entrepreneurs and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
- Commercially astute with strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to advise at senior level
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across businesses
What's on Offer:
- A unique opportunity to work directly with a high-profile CEO and be involved in both private and business affairs
- Exposure to a diverse portfolio of businesses with real influence over growth and development
- Entrepreneurial working environment with plenty of autonomy
- Competitive salary package reflective of experience
This is the perfect role for a qualified accountant who wants to step away from traditional practice and play a key part in managing and growing a high-profile entrepreneurial portfolio.
