Management Accountant

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a leading business in a thriving sector to support and deliver accurate, timely financial information and provide insights that support better decision-making. Working closely with the Head of Management Accounting, you'll manage key areas of the P&L, support forecasting, and contribute to both planning and business initiatives.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Management Accountant ensures strong reporting, effective processes, and clear analysis, helping the business make informed decisions and achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned areas of the P&L, ensuring accuracy and explaining variances

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and assist with the external audit

• Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles

• Develop and improve processes to enhance efficiency and data integrity

• Produce ad hoc reports and analysis to support projects and senior management

• Contribute to business change initiatives as needed

Person Specification

• Experience in a management accounting or similar finance role

• AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA with 3+ years' experience

• Strong Excel and IT skills, with an analytical mindset

• Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to meet deadlines

• Clear and effective communicator, able to explain financial information

• Commercially aware, adaptable, and proactive in driving improvements
