I'm recruiting for a Group Accountant to join one of the North Wests fastest growing companies.

This newly created position will sit in central finance giving you the chance to help shape internal controls and influence the business as it continues to scale.

Reporting to the Group FC, the business is looking to bring in an ACA / ACCA qualified Accountant who has trained in Practice /Audit and is looking for a first move into Industry. An excellent opportunity to join one of the most commercial focused companies in the area.

As Group Accountant you role will involve:

• Supporting and improving the Group's internal control framework
• Documenting key financial and operational processes
• Performing control testing (walk throughs & sampling)
• Identifying and tracking deficiencies + supporting fixes
• Preparing reports for senior stakeholders and audit committee
• Monitoring expense compliance (including PSA)
• Getting stuck into finance improvement and risk projects

What we're looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
• Background in audit, finance, or controls
• Sharp eye for detail + clear communicator
• Comfortable with Excel and process-focused work
• Bonus: experience with GRC tools (not essential)
• Proactive mindset and team-first attitude
