We're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager who's ready to take the reins in a fast-moving, growing business. If you love variety, responsibility, and making a real impact, this role could be a great fit.

You'll be leading the finance function day-to-day - owning everything from management accounts and budgets to cashflow and financial strategy. It's a fantastic opportunity to join a scaling business where your input really matters, not just to the numbers but to how we grow.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and manage the finance team, overseeing all daily accounting operations

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgets

• Handle weekly P&L reporting

• Manage cashflow, credit control, and payments to keep things running smoothly

• Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, and liaise with auditors

• Provide commercial insights and analysis to help drive smart business decisions

• Develop and improve financial controls, policies, and processes

• Partner with teams across sales, ops, and product to boost profitability and efficiency

• Report directly to the directors as a key part of the leadership team

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a finance management role, ideally in a scale-up or SME

• Solid understanding of accounting standards, compliance, and reporting

• Commercial mindset - you see beyond the numbers and think strategically

• Confident communicator and natural collaborator

• Strong skills in Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar, plus Excel wizardry

• (Bonus) Experience in transport or logistics
