Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing, Wrexham based, manufacturing organisation as they look to recruit a Management Accountant to join their busy finance team.

This opportunity is ideal for an AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified Accountant looking to build on their expeience and progress within a busy and hands on management accounting role.

Salary/benefits:

• £40-45,000pa
• 37.5 hour working week
• 1 day from home per week (post probation)

Job Duties:

• Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide insights to support business performance.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial integrity.
• Manage the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare and review accruals, prepayments, and other key journals.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.
• Support statutory reporting and year-end audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, Intrastat, and EC Sales reporting requirements.
• Provide financial guidance and support for department managers and senior leadership.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems

Ideal experience

• AAT Qualified, working towards ACCA or CIMA is desirable.
• Previous experience in management accounting role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
