Are you an ambitious finance professional looking for the next step in your career? This is a fast-paced, rapidly growing business based in Birchwood, Warrington, and they are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join an expanding finance team.

As they continue through a period of substantial growth, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills, take on more responsibility, and play a key role in supporting our Management Accountant and working closely with our Financial Controller.

What you'll do:

• Support the Management Accountant with month-end tasks, journals, reconciliations, and reporting

• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial analysis

• Oversee and improve day-to-day transactional processes

• Maintain accurate ledgers and balance sheet reconciliations

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow processes

• Work collaboratively across the business to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Identify opportunities for process improvement as the company continues to scale

What will you need?

• Experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role

• Strong understanding of transactional finance and month-end processes

• Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Proactive, organised, and eager to develop
