I have a brand-new and exclusive opportunity for an Accounts Assistant with a rounded experience and a keen eye for detail to join my Wrexham based client on a permanent basis. A hybrid working pattern is supported here and the benefits of the role incude private healthcare / flexible hours / generous pension contribution.

The role will provide support to the finance manager and has been newly created due to growth. You will be able to get involved with all aspects of finance and no two days will be the same!

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase ledger duties; processing complex invoices and checking them against orders / spotting discrepencies
  • Managing the sales ledger function
  • Adhoc credit control via phone / email
  • Upholding strong relationships with key clients and communicating effectively with team members
  • Processing data and manipulating it on Excel and other systems
  • Supporting the Finance manager with workload and upcoming projects

Requirements

  • AAT ideal but not essential - proven experience essential
  • Initiative to question discrepencies
  • Keen eye for detail
