At Accountable Recruitment we are looking for a Trainee Purchase Ledger Clerk for a fast growing company in the Southport area.

Salary - £18,000 to £22,000 Depending on experience

Full time 8 to 4 // Fully Office based // Permanent position // 20 holidays + bank holidays //
Key Responsibilities will eventually include:
· Processing incoming invoices and credit notes
· Seek approval of supplier invoices
· Checking invoices are matched to Purchase orders
· Reconciliation of accounts
· Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing accounts
· Statement reconciliations
Reporting directly to the Account Manager we will provide support to study towards an AAT qualification.
Person Specification: ·

  • The ability to deal confidently with people with clear and effective communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Good numeracy skills, IT literacy and experience with Microsoft packages.
  • attention to detail, proactive, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and positive
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Ability to work under own initiative and within a team with a reliable and flexible attitude
