Accountable Recruitment are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk on a 6 month FTC based in Widnes

Salary £23,000-24,000
Hybrid working pattern - 1 day in office per week (after training period)
Flexible working hours
As an International accounts payable clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring day to day duties are performed to a high standard, reporting to the Accounts payable team leader. Ensuring invoices are entered on to the system quickly, accurately and efficiently to ensure we pay to agreed supplier commercial terms.

Duties;

  • Matching of freight and Maintenance invoices against relevant costs in RAM
  • Posting invoices directly to sage where necessary
  • Liaising with various departments around the business to ensure completion of tasks when necessary
  • Accurate and timely processing of invoices
  • Provide support to the extended finance team
  • Accurate and timely fortnightly payment runs of multi currencies
  • Looking at process improvements pro-actively
  • Building and keeping good relationships with suppliers
  • Ability to prioritise without close supervision
  • Ability to work independently and take accountability for own role
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Ad-hoc duties
  • Housekeeping

Candidate requirements;

  • Experience in an Accounts Payable environment
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good relationship management
  • Knowledge of RAM
  • Knowledge of Sage X3
  • HSBC system online banking
