Accountable Recruitment are working with an organisation based in Liverpool for a Credit Controller on a 12 month FTC.
Salary: up to £22,000
Fully remote however this may change to a hybrid pattern
You will be a highly motivated individual who is able to perform effectively under significant pressure, continuously working within tight deadlines, managing a portion of the Sales Ledger.
Duties include;
- To ensure that monies owed are collected within terms by managing a portion of the Sales Ledger
- Maintain accurate Customer records
- Contacting customers by various means to pursue outstanding debt
- To maintain various databases to ensure financial data is accurate and up to date
- Adhere to monthly and quarterly deadlines
- To perform ad-hoc duties requested by line manager or other senior member of staff
The ideal candidate will possess;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Good working knowledge of financial regulations and the ability to apply them
- Relevant credit control experience
- Awareness of the segregation of duties to ensure controls
- Familiarity with VAT to ensure the correct treatment on transactions
- Able to comply with month-end and year-end deadlines
