Accountable recruitment are looking for a Payroll Co-ordinator to join a market leading organisation based in Liverpool.

Salary: £25,000-£28,000

Hours: 9-5- Hybrid working / 28 days Holiday + bank holiday


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -

· Monitor payroll procedures at all levels and formulate improvements if and when required.
· Ensure all payroll output is timely and accurate
· Ensure all payroll deductions (PAYE, pension etc.) are paid over by due dates.
· Process leavers, starters and contract changes and all necessary documentation including P45's
· Ensure compliance with pension regulations regarding auto enrolment procedures.
· Compare overtime payments month on month
· Complete monthly reconciliations to ensure all control accounts agree to the balance sheet
· Ensure the payroll figures reconcile with the nominal ledger
· Complete the period end close down
· Set up journals and monitor to ensure all salaries are charged to the projects in line with budget
· Complete all statutory and non-statutory requests for payroll information

KEY SKILLS-

  • Previous payroll experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Develop positive, professional working relationships and liaise with managers, teams and people we support across the organisation.
  • IT literate
