Accountable recruitment are working on behalf of a reputable company based near Accrington looking for a Finance administrator on a full time basis.
Salary: Up to £22,000
Hours: 9-5
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing and organising workflows, ensuring that purchase ledger processes are adhered to
- Provide first line support to advise/resolve incoming queries/issues by phone or email
- Support processing supplier invoices in line with matching criteria and agreed service levels.
- Ensure all copy invoices are sent over for scanning
- Ensure detailed knowledge of all Buying Support policies / procedures and provide expert advice to the Trading Team and suppliers where requested.
- Respond to all queries.
- Batching invoices, debit, and credit notes
- Contribute to the delivery of team KPI's and meeting individual targets. Provide raw data in preparation for weekly/monthly reports.
- Encourage compliance with supplier and customer groups to support process improvements.

- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Confident and resilient
- Able to organise own workload and to reprioritise at short notice to meet deadlines
- Able to investigate issues thoroughly to get to the root of problems
