Finance Business Partner

Salary - £40,000 - £45,000

Accountable Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a fantastic, award winning company. You will be bringing further integrity, rigour and development to their financial planning processes as the business evolves.

The successful candidate will possess a professional accounting qualification (ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA, CIMA)

1st movers from Top 10 Practice firms will also be considered.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with managers to reconcile internal systems containing fee data to ensure full cost recovery and accurate management accounts.
  • Work with managers to help them understand their data and drive results.

  • Support the Financial Controller with preparation of the annual statutory accounts and preparation of information for year-end audit.

  • Act as a Business Partner to service budget holders, supporting them to understand and engage in their budgets and financial results.

  • Proactively working with stakeholders whilst providing challenge and review of the figures.
  • Work with the Director of Finance and Financial Controller to ensure continuous improvement within the Finance Department.

  • Good leadership and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Robust personality and has the ability to work to tight deadlines in a demanding fast paced environment.
  • Ability to plan ahead
  • Good networker, able to build cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • A strong and unrelenting drive for improvement and attention to detail.
  • Ability to contribute to business and process change

  • Leave is 5 weeks per year plus 8 days statutory bank holidays. One additional days holiday is awarded following completion of 5 years' service and two additional days on completion of 10 years' service
