12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Commercial Accountant
£40,000 - £45,000 +10% bonus
Deeside - hybrid working (2 days office, 3 WFH) plus a remote working model

This is a 12 month FTC role

The purpose of this role:

Managing, analysing, and maintaining the commercial performance of our channels, the team plays a crucial role in making sure that we drive revenue into the business and maximize commercial opportunities.

One of the best parts of being in the Commercial team is working with colleagues from across Data, Marketing, Tech, and Product & Design. We're kept on our toes, adapting to external market changes and partner demands. Operating in a fast-paced environment, with new challenges every day, the team is quick-thinking and results-focused.

This is a key role; you will be leading on multiple insurance channels, managing performance and breadth & complexity of proposition. It provides an opportunity to manage relationships with key third-party partners, developing your strategic thinking, project management, product development, commercial acumen, and analytical skills. You will help define and deliver the channel strategy, balanced against a focus on activities which help us grow performance in-year.

This is a varied role allowing you to work on key strategic initiatives such as partner product development, onboarding new products and the commercial performance of the channel.

Duties of the role;

  • Coordinating with key stakeholders to deliver to budget, calling out any risks and opportunities
  • Accountable for the commercials and revenue generation in-line with targets
  • Responsible for driving forward partner on-boarding with MSM to offer a comprehensive comparison for customers
  • Accountable for the day-to-day performance of key strategic brands
  • Provide market insight to the team through competitor research activity, keeping abreast of movements/opportunities within the market and working with other parties in the industry to come up with new revenue generating opportunities

What do we need from you?

  • Proven experience working in a data driven environment and utilising data to make informed decisions
  • Highly polished communication skills
  • Proven success building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Power point.
