Accountable Executive are working with an expanding organisation based in Deeside who are looking for a Financial Controller to join their company on a temporary to permanent basis.

Reporting directly into the Finance Director you will be responsible for overseeing the finance function whilst managing and developing a team of 4.

Key day to day duties will include: - Lead the day-to-day finance & accounting functions to meet short and long-term business objectives
- Providing financial insight and support across the business including analysis and planning; reporting; credit control; invoice financing; accounts payable and receivable; inventory and costs control; and budgeting and forecasting
- Manage the month/year end close processes across the team.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of accounting policies, systems, and procedures in achieving objectives.
- Review the organisation's financial reports to ensure they have been accurately prepared and present findings and recommendations for any improvement opportunity
- Improve and harmonise systems and processes in line with the broader group approach.
- Maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders, ie HMRC, Accountants, including in international markets
- Agreeing and maintaining budgets and associated reporting

Salary: up to £75,000 depending on experience
Location: Deeside
Working pattern: Hybrid 3 in the office and 2 working from home
Holidays: 25 days
Hours of work: 40
Direct Reports: 4
Start date: ASAP

Successful candidates must:

- be qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- have previous experience operating as a Financial Controller
- have worked in an environment that deals with tangible products (manufacturing/retail)

Desirable skills are:
- experience of invoice financing
- experience of dealing with international entities
