A New Project / Systems Accountant Opportunity has risen for an experienced Project Accountant to join a group of business based in Manchester (hybrid / 1 day per week in the office available)

***4 days per week considered*** Hybrid / flexible working / Up to £50,000 / 4 day week considered / Immediate Start

This position will play a major role in working with the Finance Team to help redesign and develop financial systems that meet the fast paced and ever changing business requirements.

With a strong blend of financial and systems experience from previous roles you will be tasked with developing the use of systems across all financial areas of the business (4 key entities) with particular focus on driving automation.

Key projects will include:

-Driving the automation of data capture

-Data postings, analysis and reporting. Whilst also ensuring data integrity and internal controls are integral to all systems and playing a key role in the improvement of the financial system across all entities.

All of the business entities use SAGE but in different ways - this individual will be tasked with streamlining processes so that they're all working to he same model.

Duties include:
-Build a matrix
-Asses issues
-Talk to the transactions team to understand problems and come up with ideas to resolve
-Calculate volume of work and data
-Document how the business can improve processes

During the 4 months project the role will include travel to Cardiff and Bristol site twice ideally.
