Accountable recruitment are supporting a Wirral based client in their search for a Finance Manager to join their tight-knit team. You will provide guidance to 3 members of Transactional staff whilst directly reporting to and working with the FD. This role is ideal for somebody with previous management experience and a hands-on background dealing with Accounts, getting involved in all capacities.

Key duties;

• Providing appropriate support and supervision to the Transactions team
• Ensuring all aged debt reports are up to date
• Monitoring cash flow and challenging spending when necessary
• Responsible for payroll - pensions / legislations / SSP / SNP etc
• Assisting with the monitoring of costs by producing monthly variance reports against budgets
• Preparation of management accounts
• Supporting with month and year end
• Assisting the FD as required - lots of scope to get involved with projects in other departments
• Producing and helping to present board packs

Required experience;

• Qualifications - Open to QBE / PQ / Newly Qual.
• Experience in a similar role and previous management experience essential
• Must be competent on Excel
• Some exposure to payroll administration would be ideal
