Accountable Recruitment are currently supporting a company based near Ellesmere Port as they search for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team, as the business continue to grow at an excitingly rapid pace. This role reports directly to the Finance Director and the successful candidate will gain exposure to different functions and departments across the growing business and support with key business decisions and the presentation and analysis of all Finances alongside the FD. Mentorship from an experienced FD and Study Support will be provided for the right, ambitious candidate.

Wirral based office

9 - 5 with some flexibility if required

25 days holiday + bank holidays

£26,000 - £33,000 DOE (+ Full study package)

Fantastic exposure to a range of duties and projects

Key Duties:

• Commercially focused role, you must be a strong communicator as the role will involve collecting data from different departments
• Interpretation of reports to Business directors and supporting with key business decisions
• Supoprting with month end duties - monthly management accounts
• Journals, prepayments, accruals
• Cash flow forecasting and budgeting
• Review and analyse contracts and performance
• Working alongside the FD daily (he has capacity to really train and mentor)

Skills required:

• Work experience within Finance is essential
• Studying ACCA/CIMA or keen to start
• Exposure to month end duties is desirable
• Excel essential, Sage experience beneficial
