A highly-growth business in Manchester City Centre is currently recruiting for a qualified Senior Finance Business Partner to join the growing team.
Reporting into the Head of Finance you will be working as a core member of the Finance team to provide financial expertise to deliver robust functional commercial and financial performance.
This position has excellent opportunity for progression and development.
As Senior Finance Business Partner your role will include:
- Business Partnering with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide credible finance representation
- Provide accurate, timely and robust analysis for the operational teams
- Identify trends which tell the story behind the numbers within the business
- Drive effective working capital management throughout the Community business
- Act as liaison for central and divisional functions, with representation on projects
- Support with annual audit process to provide data when required
- Line management of Project Accountant
- Provide the MD and Divisional management team commentary and relevant analysis on month-end performance
- Support with the annual budget process including compilation of relevant data
- Liaise with central Finance to ensure month end accounts are accurate
- Lead periodic Contract performance review to share analysis of performance
- Review the businesses variance analysis and request investigation into specific items when required.
To apply for the role you must be:
- A qualified CIMA / ACCA
- Able to demonstrable experience in continuous improvement and driving financial performance
- Advanced with excel skills
- Expert with creation and development of Excel-based MI and forecasting templates / models
- Highly proficient at manipulating and analysing large volumes of data in order to identify key commercial issues/trends
- Proven track record in a complex business environment
- Demonstrable experience in continuous improvement and driving financial performance
- Developing stakeholder relationships internally and externally
- Line management experience preferably with remote based employees
