Accountable recruitment are currently supporting a Stafford based company as they continue to grow their Finance function and dominate their market. They are offering a Trainee Accountant the opportunity to join the team and develop their skills in a successful and dynamic team.

Role; Trainee Accountant

Location; Remote - 2 x office days p/m in Stafford

Salary; £24,000 + Study Support (ACCA/CIMA)

What the role entails -

• Supporting the head of treasury / transactions in day-to-day operations
• Cash flow forecasting and budget setting
• Completion of bank reconciliations and resolving any banking queries
• VAT returns - learning how to calculate and submit VAT (training can be provided)
• Processing a high number of transactions to Sales and Purchase ledger functions

Experience required -

• You should have experience in a Transactional finance role
• Ambitious to progress and develop
• Strong communicator able to work over systems such as Teams
• Confident on Excel
