Finance Business Partner

A growing UK-based organization is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.

This opportunity is ideal for an immediately available, qualified accountant looking for a dynamic interim role.

Salary/Benefits:

• £55,000 - £65, 000 per annum (pro-rated)

Job Duties:

• Act as a proactive Finance Business Partner, providing support, challenge, and insights to Operations Managers.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and relevant financial information
• Provide commercial support to Operations, focusing on understanding and explaining business performance variances and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Challenge and question budget/forecast assumptions
• Produce Monthly Reporting pack and participate in Monthly Review Meetings.
• Oversee the production of monthly Management Accounts
• Evaluate business cases, including capital expenditure proposals.
• Ensure strong financial controls
• Adhere to company policies and statutory requirements.

Ideal Experience:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
• Experience in an operationally focused role
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.
• Self-starter with a 'can do' attitude and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
• Organized approach with the ability to manage a variety of outputs and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work with external advisers.
• Preferred: Experience in Logistics or Distribution industries
• Full clean driving license required.
