The company is a well respected organisation with a strong presence in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. Known for their commitment to excellence, they are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to contribute to our financial success and provide critical insights to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly Management Accounts: Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
• Profit and Loss Analysis: Conduct detailed profit and loss analysis, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
• Variance Analysis: Provide comprehensive commentaries to senior management, explaining variances and offering recommendations for improvement.
• Year-End Audit Assistance: Support the Financial Controller and assist auditors with the year-end process, ensuring compliance and smooth audit procedures.
• Budget Holder Liaison: Work closely with budget holders on a monthly basis, offering financial guidance and ensuring alignment with overall financial objectives.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant, with strong technical skills in management accounts and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach, with a passion for continuous improvement.
