Treasury Officer
Temporary Role - potential to become permanent
Location: Liverpool

Accountable Recruitment are recruiting for a Treasury Officer for a company in the education sector based in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will be immediately available and have experience working in a similar role.

Salary/benefits:

• Salary up to £40,000
• Hybrid working (3 days in, 2 home)
• Based out of Liverpool City Centre

Job Duties:

• Manage the corporate purchasing card system and act as the primary point of contact for related queries.
• Oversee treasury operations, including monitoring cash balances and making recommendations on cash/currency management.
• Liaise with external providers for foreign exchange and manage associated transactions.
• Perform routine treasury accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Support process improvements and advise on financial procedures across the organisation.

• Accounting Team Supervisor

Ideal Experience:

• Proven experience in treasury management
• Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial managers
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
