Accountable Recruitment are excited to be working with our client who are a well-known business in Merseyside. They are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their growing and high-performing team.

As Finance Business Partner, you will provide key financial support to key stakeholders across your business unit areas.

Key duties:

• As a Finance Business Partner, your role will involve working closely with your business unit areas to drive financial performance, ensuring cost control.
• You will support your business units with cost-efficiency programmes, partnering with senior non-financial stakeholders to identify opportunities for operational cost savings.
• You will work closely with finance analysts to create accurate cost forecasts for your business unit areas.
• You will prepare PowerPoint presentations and lead review meetings with operational teams to assess performance against financial plans, addressing any cost-related challenges.
• Working in close partnership with your business unit areas, you will ensure effective and accurate weekly performance reporting, to track and minimise variances at period-end.

Key skills:

• Previous experience working as a Finance Business Partner
• Strong stakeholder management - able to support and challenge senior non-financial stakeholders.
• Good PowerPoint skills
• A professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA/ACA or equivalent).
