Finance Business Partner (12-Month FTC) - Up to £65k - Home-Based with monthly travel to sites across the UK.
We are recruiting for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a thriving FMCG business based in Sefton on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the flexibility of home-based working, with travel to site twice a month to collaborate with the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate product costing models, providing insights into cost drivers and recommending opportunities for cost efficiency.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights that influence decision-making and enhance profitability.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts for manufacturing and supply chain activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze variances between actual and standard costs, preparing detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
• Performance Monitoring: Work closely with department heads to monitor KPIs, track financial performance, and drive accountability across the business.
• Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and improving financial controls within the costing and reporting frameworks.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or Cost Accountant role within the FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of product costing, manufacturing processes, and supply chain dynamics.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively partner with non-finance stakeholders.
• Highly proficient in financial analysis tools, Excel, and ERP systems.
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
