Senior Management Accountant

Duration: 12-15 Months

Location: Warrington (Hybrid)

Salary: circa £55,000 (negotiable DOE)

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing UK-based organisation seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team on an initial 12-15 month contract, covering maternity leave.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) looking for a dynamic role within a fast-paced, evolving business. You will be responsible for producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts, leading a small team, and providing key financial insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly Management Accounts (P&L, balance sheets, variance analysis).
• Assist in the preparation of Board Pack slides for finance.
• Provide financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and planning reports in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Oversee VAT returns, payroll reviews, and intercompany balances.
• Assist in the production of annual statutory accounts and liaise with auditors.
• Line management of finance team members, ensuring high performance and development.
• Contribute to the integration of new systems and acquisitions.

Ideal Candidate:

• CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant with experience in multi-company management accounts.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly.
• Excellent Excel skills
• Confident in liaising with senior management and non-financial teams.
• A proactive people manager with strong leadership & communication skills
