Meet the Team

Lauren joined Accountable in 2018 after 10 years’ experience working in recruitment across the North West. She has worked across Professional Services markets focussing on Accountancy & Finance. Here at Accountable Lauren manages the North West Region team whilst also being directly responsible for Permanent Qualified positions. 

Lauren has built strong candidate and client relationships over the years; she has a strong and flexible work ethic and is committed to supporting you with her open and honest approach.

Lauren has a strong network and her client portfolio ranges from large blue chip companies to entrepreneurial SME’s, many of which are private equity backed.

In her spare time, Lauren is kept busy with her young daughter and socialising with friends. Additionally, she is an avid reader, particularly motivational self-help books and podcasts.

For 8 years Paul managed recruitment offices across Liverpool, Warrington and Chester and he was ranked as one of the top 2 Managers in the world, for two consecutive years, when working for a large international recruitment business.

For the past 5 years Paul has successfully completed his CIPD qualification whilst working as an HR professional, but has once again been drawn back to recruitment. His friendly, down to earth approach with both candidates and clients, enables him to build genuine long lasting, working relationships.

His success is driven by his market knowledge and his ability to match technical skills and personality to meet client expectations.

In his spare time Paul enjoys spending time with his young family and competes at sports such as football, golf and triathlons.

Louise joined Accountable Recruitment in June 2019 to work closely with Simon and the team to drive the business development strategy within the North West region, with a particular emphasis on delivering new business, enhancing existing relationships and supporting Simon to ensure the successful delivery of the Finance Director Awards.

Louise has developed insights into commercial development and winning new business across multiple industries within the private, public, and not for profit sectors and has grown a strong network of senior executive level contacts whom she keeps in regular contact with.

In her spare time Louise can usually be found hanging out on the Wirral with her husband and family - juggling a myriad of extra-curricular activities like being a dance mum and Brownies and has recently taken up running and golf!

Sam joined Accountable back in 2016 having come from a sales and retail background. Sam’s natural ability to the hustle and bustle of recruitment is proven in his recent and well-deserving promotion to Principal Consultant. Sam is a quality, service driven and dedicated ‘list-maker’. He specialsies in the Permanent Part-Qualified market of Finance and Accounting professionals across the Liverpool City Region. Sam is a loyal member of the team building well-respected relationships with all.

Sam’s hard work and self-motivation with the diligence to see all projects to an end, has led to long-lasting and secure client and candidate relationships across a variety of sectors. Sam’s honest and reliable approach has seen him go the extra-mile on countless occasions in order to ensure all recruitment needs are delivered to exceptional standards and on time.

Aside from recruitment Sam’s time is usually taken up by socialising with friends or his passion for sport, whether this is playing football or attempting to play golf on a weekend.

Megan joined Accountable in 2019 having worked in the recruitment industry since 2015 and relocating to the North West.   Megan has a combined passion for sourcing talent and developing long-term and sustained candidate and client relationships.       

Megan is a multi-sector recruiter, who’s greatest contribution to the organisation lies in her natural ability to interact positively with people, in combination with her strong drive to achieve worthwhile results. 

When not in work, Megan enjoys cooking, time spent with family and keeping fit.  Nights out with friends is also high on Megan’s agenda. 

Rebecca is a key member of our high performing qualified recruitment team, directly responsible for qualified roles across Warrington and the North West region.    

Rebecca joined the Accountable team in October 2019 having worked in Accountancy / Finance recruitment across the North West for 15 years. Subsequently bringing with her 15 years’ worth of client and candidate relationships and specialist market knowledge across the sector.

Rebecca’s flexible work ethic enables her to adapt to your specific needs, offering a truly bespoke service every time. Her consultative and honest approach has allowed her to forge long and successful working relationships across the region.

In her spare time…. Rebecca has no spare time! She is kept very busy with her two young children. Weekends are spent exploring the beaches and countryside of the Wirral coastline where she lives with her husband. Her hobbies are enjoying a glass of wine in the local pub, oh and running and reading.

With over 18 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, as a Sales Support/Talent Specialist, June is uniquely placed to support the team at Accountable and is crucial to our ongoing growth and success.

With experience predominantly in the Finance & Accounting sector she has also worked in Education and Healthcare recruitment and has a wealth of knowledge and superb administrative and support skills.

June previously worked with Simon 14 years earlier, when they set up an office for an international recruitment firm in Liverpool, so we are delighted to have her on board once more.

Spare time is mainly taken up with her young daughter and spending time with family and friends!

Jennifer joined Accountable to specialise in transactional recruitment across Cheshire, Warrington and North Wales. After 18 successful months, Jennifer has now joined the expanding part qualified division to continue developing relationships in the same area. 

Jennifer's thorough, organised and resilient approach ensures she leaves no stone unturned when consistently attracting the highest quality candidates and matching them with her clients’ expectations. 

Out of the office, Jennifer enjoys listening to live music, travelling, cooking and speaking a number of different languages.

Nichola joined the team in 2022. Originally from Ireland, she relocated to Liverpool following 8 years working in Sales Management in the Beauty Industry.

Nichola is highly motivated with a commitment to providing a positive experience for both candidates and clients. She has a friendly and approachable persona which ensures long-lasting relationships are developed.

In her spare time she enjoys going for walks and spending time with family & friends. Nichola also co-manages a Riverdance troupe which performs at corporate events and special occasions.

Laura recently joined Adaptable after 20 years working in the sales industry across the northwest, building and maintaining strong long lasting relationships. With hard work and great motivation she ensures all work is achieved with an exceptional standard ensuring a positive experience.

Her spare time is spent with children, family & friends, she really enjoys keeping fit going to the gym and spin classes. 

Hannah joined Accountable Recruitment as Sales Support in 2022 after nearly 4 years in retail and customer service with Matalan.

Hannah is a talented artist on the quiet and paints incredible portraits. When she isn't painting Hannah spends her spare time trying out new places to eat and exploring new holiday destinations. She also enjoys going to the gym.

Fiona has worked in the recruitment sector since 2003. Having nearly 20 years’ experience, she gained CIPD 5 Associate status in 2021 and moved into a specialist HR performance management role. She is bringing a mix of recruitment know-how and analytical focus to the operational delivery within the Accountable and Adaptable teams, to supercharge and maximise success!

In her spare time she is focused on her two daughters and their hobbies whilst also staying active via swimming and cycling, alongside tuning into podcasts and crime dramas.

Lindsay joined the Adaptable team in 2023 to focus on Human Resources Recruitment. After a long career in pharmaceutical industry and the evolving NHS Landscape working for Smith & Nephew Healthcare, SHS Nutricia and In2Focus SDS Limited, she moved into Project Management for digital marketing company, Revolution4. Lindsay has a strong focus on customer value and integration.

Originally from Northern Ireland Lindsay lived and worked in both Scotland and Manchester before moving to the Wirral 20 years ago where she fell in love with the area. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling back home to Northern Ireland to explore childhood locations with her own kids. An avid winter sport enthusiast Lindsay loves spending time with husband, kids and dogs, time mostly spent running round after kids taking them to all their clubs and fitting in time to see her own friends around that!  

Ellis joined the Adaptable family in 2023 as Recruitment Consultant focusing on Transactional Finance appointments in the Cheshire and Warrington area. Ellis is a driven and motivated individual and prior to joining Ellis worked in recruitment in Liverpool.

In her spare time, she likes to socialise with friends and family, going for meals out. Ellis is also a keen traveller and loves visiting new places.
